Wheels

Well, for better or for worse, we finally managed to snag a used car for what seemed a good price. It's an american model so we'll just leave it messy (comment dedicated to Seth and Laura). Today our neighborhood mechanic pointed out that the handbreak is adjusted a little too loosely. Josh had to smile. He's just so thrilled to finally have a car with a handbreak that works.
P.S. For those of you who like UK trivia, what can you deduce from the car by looking at the license plate?

That's funny. We're just getting rid of our Escort (red, automatic, and messier than Seth and Laura's car). However, I assume that yours doesn't have a huge dent in the door like ours, and probably also has a radiator that doesn't leak coolant, an exhaust system that doesn't leak exhaust, and rear brakes, shocks, springs, and struts that are functional.
Our Toyota Echo is somewhere in the Pacific, making its way to us from Japan.

Josh, Is this your 2nd escort?
My interpretation of the license plate number (P682KDB) on your lovely "new" car: Potential Sicks Ate Two Kids Before Dinner. Love your web site. You two never cease to amaze me! Love and blessings, Granddad
I was just really missing you guys and thought I would check the blog to see how my "good" friends are doing. What do I see? A little dig at us and our fellow Americans! Oh well- can't bother us too much since we're off to Hawaii on Thursday. Love you guys! Laura
PS. your car is cute!
