Happy places

Well, maybe not so happy here - the lifeguard had just suggested to us that we might want to get out of the water as there were a dozen sharks within 10 metres of the shore... Normally, this is Brian's stress-release beach, Cottesloe.
Rottnest Island is a definite happy place for us! We all practiced our snorkelling and stalked quokkas- a lovely day with Nan and Pa.
This is Meelup Bay. Heather is pretty sure that she once had a field trip here for geology, but the nature of those field trips means that the memory is fuzzy. Regardless, it's a very happy place for a suppertime picnic and swim!
This is Nan and Pa's local happy place, the beach across the road from their new home in Busselton. Nice and calm for Jamie to learn how to snorkel, and Justin to run to his heart's content.
(Jamie insists the record state that she did get stung by a jellyfish here)
Nan picked up this wagon with one scenario in mind: lugging tired and salty grandkids home from the beach. It fits four!
