Teaching ends, travel begins

As soon as the Fall teaching term ends, Josh often finds himself on a plane to somewhere or other. In late 2013, the destination was Braunschweig, Germany (above) to give a talk and lead a workshop, then off to Lyon, France (below) to give another talk, then back in under a week. Although exhausted with jet lag (yes, above) and working morning to night, there were a few stolen moments to wander the Christmas markets in Germany (again above) and explore Lyon as a possible 2015 sabbatical destination.

For the 2020 sabbatical maybe I could put a vote in for BC? History, cobblestones, pastries, and good wine are totally overrated..

Especially when not viewed with a Reems companion guide!
