A summer birthday for Justin

Justin celebrated his seventh birthday mid summer rather than mid winter this year, which means that we could surprise him with a "trickster" scooter (above) for immediate use at several nearby skate parks. Jamie's gift of Nerf guns enabled all-out warfare in the house (below).

He was even able to celebrate at a local park with his new classmates. Hurray for parties without snowpants!

Justin, you are such a joy. Your cheerful and adaptable nature have been extra appreciated on this trip, and we look forward to many more adventures with you over the years. Happy birthday Justin.
