Cliffside monastery

On Amorgos we visited the Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa which is perched on the steep slope of Prophetes Elias mountain directly above the ocean. Instead of climbing up the stretch of rocky stairs to the monastery (without trousers we would not have been allowed in anyway), we went down the stretch of rocky stairs to the beach. How uncultured.
