Riding the rails

Heather and the kids joined some friends for a trip on the train to St Jacobs. It was a kid-friendly 45-minute haul with plenty of whistle-blasts, friendly conductors, a few farms, and one big trestle bridge. Jamie loved every minute, checking that the engine was still visible at the head of the car, even lying on her back in the middle of the aisle to better appreciate the rails. Justin was most happy on Mommy's lap, expecially during those sudden whistles.
