Brave

Jamie started preschool on Friday morning. Daddy, Mommy and Justin drove away, leaving Jamie clutching Buddy, staring after us with a wavering smile through the chain-link fence of the school playground. She reportedly braved the world 'alone' for about ten minutes, had a quick fierce cry, then settled in to crafts, songs, and snacks. Today was her second day, and she was proud to report that she didn't cry at all. She's already playing school at home now, forcing snack time on Justin and Buddy, and sounding far too old to be our baby girl!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that she is old enough already! But be honest who cried more Jamie or mom and dad?
