Do you want some free Hungarian fries?

That's the phrase that will forever be imprinted on Josh's memory from our Ottawa New Year's trip. It was the icing on the cake, they were so good, and they just kept on giving (belch). We got away sans kiddos for New Year's Eve (thanks Mom and Dad!). Byward Market offered some much missed Euro-style sustenance (Heather opted to live off pastries rather than Hungarian fries) as we toured the Hill, and the Art Gallery, before seeing the New Year out with bellies full of curry (at Shafali's) and beer while watching hockey in a Byward pub.
