We have been to the hospital three or four times in the past week. It all started with an ultrasound
two weeks ago that suggested that Heather's amniotic fluid was a little low (11 cm). Last week, a second scan indicated that the level had dropped even lower (8 cm). We were referred to a doctor and have since had checkups, heartbeat monitors and even a steroid treatment for Heather to help with the baby's lung development in the case of a delivery this week. The good news is that we had another scan earlier today that showed the fluid levels up a bit (10 cm). Thirteen cm is normal at this stage so we and the midwives are surprised and breathing a collective sigh of relief that the membrane is likely still fine. All signs indicate that the baby is very healthy and today's scan revealed a face looking back at us!

Hooray! I'm so pleased!
praying for all 3 of you. Give me a call if there is anything I can.
thinking of you.
Looks like the Little One is a little surprised at all the attention s/he is getting! What a beautiful Sweetheart, and what a special treat to get another glimpse of the little tyke! We are so happy about the good news - relieved, thankful, joyful, delighted. And, we will keep praying! Love, Mom (Grandma)
