Ice Ice and baby

This past weekend we headed about two hours north into the Peak district. This beautiful area is reminiscent of the Lake district we visited soon after we arrived in England (but without the lakes). The idea was to have a final weekend away, just the two of us, as a Christmas present for Heather. This photo was taken on the frosty Saturday morning at Manor House Farm, the 16th-century farmhouse B+B we stayed in. The requisite four-poster bed, tilty floors and loads of antique furniture (mostly from 17th century) made for a memorable stay.
We're not quite sure what's happening here but it involves Heather's fascination with ice, crazy hyper dogs 'drinking', and a fit of the giggles.
