Blenheim

Yesterday, Heather, Jamie and Clare went to Blenheim Palace, home of the Duke of Marlborough, and the place where Winston Churchill was born. Despite some absolutely horrendous torrential rain on the highways there and back, the weather granted them a few hours of happy wandering through the house and gardens. While the train (pictured here) was of some interest to Jamie, we got more giggles from her as she stroller-bounced down countless stairs. With "blood, toil, tears and sweat", Clare and Heather toiled through "the dark and deadly valleys" of the gardens.

Hey, I've been there! As I recall, they were filming a movie in the Palace while I was there. I wandered away from the tour not knowing this wasn't allowed and got to look at some beautiful paintings in side rooms and then stumbled across the film crews and equipment and stuff.

Probably a poopy BBC film though - I didn't recognize anyone.

She's eating her arm in this picture! That's hilarious and adorable! I love when babies try to eat random stuff that's WAY too big. There's a classic picture of me gumming my along a shaving mirror...
