Since Josh left for a field course in the Bahamas on Sunday, we celebrated Jamie's birthday on Saturday. After discovering her gifts from us (the dollhouse and kitchen), she opened more from relatives and friends throughout the day. We hosted an open house all morning and she actually seemed to enjoy it this year (last year she kept signing 'all done'). Perhaps the buffet full of her favourite fruits and snacks sustained her? Thanks to everyone who stopped by- it was a great day!The horns Nan and Pa included in their gift box were a hit with Jamie and all the kids at the party. Here she is doing some product testing, supplying the noises herself since her lungs weren't big enough to make the horns blow.

Happy Two, Jamie Roo! We're so sorry that we couldn't be there to help celebrate, but we're glad that the party 'blowers' were such a hit. Trust those Aussies to know how to party! Jamie, you'll be awesome at playing the 'comb' one day. Ask mum how. We love you heaps, Nan an' Pa

Happy Birthday Jamie! She looks so cute in her blue dress! Josh, we didn't know you played guitar?! Her birthday looks like it was a great success - the open house idea is one I'll have to tuck in the corner of my mind for future birthdays. And little Josh is so adorable!
