Our Big Girl
Jamie celebrated her first birthday in Scotland, in the car, in the airport, in an airplane, and finally at home in bed. Not so much fun, but she didn't complain. We had a big party the next day with all her friends. She loved having Happy Birthday sung to her, loved the cake, and was more interested in navigating the back step than in playing with her new toys. A good day.

Happy Birthday Jamie,
at one year old you are now about to start having a lot of fun. Remember you were born in the UK, so you are English no matter what your mum and dad say, or where they take you.
