Independent

Last night we woke up at 4am to the haunting melody of Justin's mobile. He can roll onto his side and managed to kick it into action. We've been practicing rolling over (not quite there yet) and he's now tolerating longer sessions of 'tummy time' with utmost enthusiasm, as shown.
Jamie loves helping Mommy bake, especially when there's chocolate involved. Her latest line is 'Jamie do it herself', applied to putting on shoes, doing dishes, and most recently, pulling down her pants for another potty sit. We'd love to have a picture of Jamie sitting on her potty, adorned with gold stars for accident-free days, but alas, the solid side of things has her stymied. We suppose that it's her potty and she'll poo when she wants to.
The kids are interacting with each other more each day, and with Justin now able to hold things that Jamie wrestles into his fingers, she's taking great joy in showing him her toys and how things work. He's in awe of his bossy big sister and watches her very carefully.

Oh my gosh! Justin looks so cute sitting up in that little chair. I can't believe how big he's getting. And he's looking more and more like his sister. Very cute pictures.

Jamie and Justin have such unique expressions. And Justin is seriously scoring with the cute points sitting there in that bumbo.
