A week late

We spent Canada Day morning at Doon Heritage Crossroads, a pioneer village and farm just south of Kitchener. Jamie had a riot getting as close as possible to all the animals (the alarmed 'safety' people took to following us around).
And this picture is for Debbie, the most avid Anne fan we know. Parts of the movies were filmed here. We stood in the room where Thomas Lynde had his heart attack. So now you have to come visit, Debbie, as does anyone else who knows what we're talking about.

I feel so proud - the most avid Anne fan you know, and that includes lots of Canadians!! So is that the main street of Avonlea in the films? I want to come and see.... Love to you all, D x
