Our Tannenbaum

We like the night-time Christmas tree hunt. Even though we forgot our flashlight again this year, we found a gorgeous tree, the kids had a great time, and no one got lost in the forest. It was so dark we were just pointing the camera where we thought one of our kids might be and were relieved to see a smiling little face show up on the screen.
The tree was decorated overnight, and presented to the kids in the morning. Jamie is entirely focussed on the candy canes this year. Consequently, every one within her reach was quickly stripped off the tree and happily ingested. Justin was initially very tentative, but is now taking down almost as many ornaments as his sister.

Thanks! Jamie has matching ones, but she pulled the eyes off one of her bears. Creepy.

Beautiful tree! I wanted one this year so badly but I didn't think I could stop Amelia from eating pine needles, tipping it over on herself, and of course, taking off ornaments. How do you manage?
