Whichever way you say it, it sure is yummy. We spent a warm Sunday with the Campbells at
Westfield pioneer village for a Maple Syrup Festival, chasing our children, watching pioneers, riding horse-drawn wagons, and eating pancakes in the sunshine. Jamie slurped all the free samples she could get her paws on, and Justin happily tested the limits of his newfound independence, tramping off toward the bush, or around the corner, whenever possible. We all had rosy cheeks and happy bellies by early afternoon.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful day - wish we could have been there! Brings back some wonderful memories! The photo of the sun shining down like a blessing on Heather and Justin is breath-taking!
I think I say "s-i-rup" but I'm not sure anymore because once I start thinking about these things I forget how to speak.
Great photos!

I had never even contemplated two ways to pronounce the word...and an English major to boot!
