Party!

Our neighbourhood association pulled together a party at the local park to fundraise for some new playground equipment. Music, games, face-painting, crafts, BBQ, and the ubiquitous red-hatted balloon-animal man (aka Josh) were all there. It was fun/frustrating watching Jamie try to get her face painted: she would wait in the line for about 90 seconds, see something interesting elsewhere and run off repeatedly. She finally sat down as the party was winding to a close, and was thrilled with the colourful result.

Justin loved the crowds of kids, held his own in the crush on the slide ladder, and was plumb tuckered out at the end of the day.
