"More excited than nervous"

As Jamie packed Buddy into her new Junior Kindergarten school bag she comforted him with "it's okay to be nervous, I just need you to be brave". And off she went, running ahead at times and overflowing with excitement. Justin hugged her extra tight for a goodbye while mommy and daddy grew misty eyed as she marched into her new school and out of sight. How did it go? From the letter home with her, "Jamie had a great first day at school (a few tears at nutrition break but not for long)". Well done big girl, look how much you and buddy have grown in such a short time.
