Be Prepared

It rained just long enough on our most recent camping trip to make all our tarping and waterproofing preparations worth it. The kids blithely ignored the rain and continued their raspberry foraging, bear hunting (whatever it was they were getting up to) as we adults gladly left them to it in favour of merely 'chilling' around the fire. Oh, and we were thrilled to discover Kubb (thanks Brad).

Actual raspberries? Gosh, there are some definite perks to living in Canada!

We have to buy ours from the freezer section at the moment...

Is it sad to admit that my first thought was that Kubb was a kind of beer? It just seemed like that would be something that Josh would be "thrilled to discover." :) Of course, knowing how much you both like games, I should've come to that idea first!

Kids don't get any cuter than these lovely youngsters; every one of them is a super blessing.
