Weekend away
Here caught in action saving our kids from a bear in the kitchen, Grandma and Grandpa came down last weekend and allowed us to get away for a bit. We hit Bayfield during their Christmas parade, the highlight of which was the bagpipers who thrill Heather's Scottish blood. Thank you Mom and Dad for some sanity time!
And thanks Uncle Calvin and Auntie Sharon for stopping by for dinner on Saturday evening on your way to Anne's party in Guelph. Cal, you put up quite a fight at the hockey table in the basement but Josh remains undefeated. Yes everyone else, that is a challenge.

I usually don't like having my picture taken, as you know. But that picture with the kids and me cuddling on the kitchen floor feels to me like a portrait of what is in our hearts. I will treasure that little frozen memory - thank you so much for capturing it!!!
