Gould Lake 2011

A Neufeld family reunion, then our annual lake break, saw us up at Gould Lake twice in the space of three weeks this summer. Frog-hunting, potato-firing, finger-painting and balloon battles were a few of the items on the agenda for our very relaxed family reunion. The cousins got along famously, and we adults didn't do too badly, either! It was great to be together again.
Our perfect holidays were much as shown below: Paddle somewhere interesting, avoid poison ivy (success!), collect cool rocks to bring home (any guesses which minerals were mined here on Gould Lake?) and spend the afternoon on and around the dock. Collective sigh...

This family really has the blues, my favourite colour! Franceen, how could you come out as a red shirt?
