Coventry

We went into Coventry on Saturday for a look around. Coventry was heavily bombed during the second world war. Coventry cathedral was also destroyed but the outer walls and steeple remain. Small shards of stained glass are still in place in many of the window holes. In the former alter area stands the burned remains of the church's cross. The wall behind is simply engraved with the words, "Father Forgive".
