Drizzly day

We decided to make the most of what promised to be a beautiful spring day by driving to Alcester (pronounced 'Alster') for a countryside walk with Marina and Herve, friends from Josh's work. Unfortunately, the walk never really happened. The rain started before we got very far and we missed the spectacular views and country castle. Instead, retiring to a cozy pub, we talked politics. As for pictures, all we can offer are a couple of lousy swans.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. It MUST have been a typo - you must have meant "lovely" swans! Unless, alas, the drizzly English weather has caused you to become a tad jaded... (smile)? Love, Mom (Grandma)
