Thankful

There are moments in life when we pause to say a big thank you. This Sunday we acknowledged how blessed we are to have been given the gift of Jamie. We committed to care for her and show her God's love in the same way our parents have done for us. Dan (the vicar) kindly organised and led the service. Our prayer: "God our creator, we thank you for the gift of this child, Jamie Ruth, entrusted to our care. May we be patient and understanding, ready to guide and to forgive, so that through our love she may come to know your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord". Fittingly, Jamie gave us what may have been her first legitimate smile on Sunday.
