The Wild Woods

After a double-check ultrasound on Heather's bump a couple of Thursdays ago, we took off for an impromptu visit to Josh's parents' house. They took us in gracefully, and even put up with Heather and Jamie staying five days longer than Josh. The weather was beautiful, so we were in the water nearly every day. Jamie loved the paddleboat, had a love/hate relationship with the motor boat (noisy!), spent much time examining all the rocks to be found on our walks, and practised 'sharing' at mealtimes with her cousins and with the dogs... Grandma and Grandpa, thank you so much for a wonderful week and for putting up with us for so long! And Nathanael, welcome to the family as Jamie's new cousin.
P.S. We've got photos from our June visit down to Heather's side of the family now: here

Poor Heather - glad she got to have a recuperative vacation away after having the lot of us visit!

Sounds like you had a good time.

Lovely photos. I know it's a cliche but I just can't believe how big she got (no, not you Heather)!
