Picture perfect
In another attempt to distract ourselves from the coming chaos, we pulled out the ultimate weapons this afternoon: fingerpaints and a 20-month-old. Jamie completed her inaugural masterpiece in short order, her creative prowess shining forth. Thanks Nan and Pa for the great Christmas present and Happy Birthday Nan! Of course your present is one of these 'first edition' prints.

I'm imagining that one day Jamie may follow in her Nan's footsteps, and this photo will be the first snapshot of a great artist at work! What a lovely study in creative concentration! And yes, Josh and Heather, we've been thinking of you so much - less than a week till your due date and we (along with all your family) are eagerly waiting with you.
