"I'm making a mess!"
Spoken blithely, these are four words to strike fear in the heart of any parent. Jamie was left unattended with her bowl of Jello for five minutes, with the shown result. Granted, she gave some warning by commenting that she didn't like it much, and then the adrenaline-pumping phrase that finally got Mommy rushing downstairs.
Justin's reaction to the goo was somewhat different.
I laughed out loud when I saw the expression on Justin's face. Priceless.
And I agree with Ed, I also love that you took the picture. (Who could pass up an opportunity like that?)
One last thing: I love the honesty of 2/3 year olds! "I'm making a mess" indeed. Just a pure statement of fact. Sam will sometimes respond to requests such as, "Don't slam the cupboard doors please," with "But I want to slam the cupboard doors." Uh huh.
