Happy Easter! We celebrated with the usual egg dyeing and hunting, chocolate overindulgence, a not-so-usual perusal of the stations of the cross at The Gig, and a dinner with Scott and Sarah (and kids). Some quiet in the sunshine this afternoon as well - with kids 'sleeping', Heather was pleased to sow some of the first seeds of the season in preparation for the vegetable garden, while Josh finished marking his exams with a beer.

I'm with you when it comes to marking exams with a (several) beer(s). Beer adds a delghtful sense of random results. Beer also allows for the marker to accept the winsome appeals submitted by the recipients of the grades.
"Don't care for a C-? Tell me why, in an articulate, sobre manner and I may elevate the mark." Note, articulate and sobre, something I may not have been when red-pencilling my way across the original submission.
