And so it begins

Slowly but steadily we've assembled a little closetful of clothes. The tiny shirts, sweaters, trousers, socks, sleep suits, booties and nappies. Apart from thoughtful care packages from our family (thanks!), we're also glad to have discovered the NCT (National Childbirth Trust) "nearly new" sale, full of second hand kids' stuff. Entire outfits for a pound or two - brilliant! We put everything through the wash and hung it to dry. A couple of days later mom Douglas helpfully hinted that we may want to consider baby-safe detergent. And so the process began again. Here's yesterday out the back window.

By the look of this photo - you're planning on having a boy! Lots of blue sleepers!

This reminds me of a baby congratulations card. Simple, but oh so sweet. On the front is a line with baby items hanging on it. Inside, all it said was, "Even the laundry's cuter."

Mini-art! Much more appealing to the eye than Josh's boxers. Looks so fresh and spring-like that it tempted even me to send a comment. Love from us in Oz
