Pie head
Jamie was four months old on Wednesday! Here she was on her birthday sporting her new hat knit by Nat. It's a replica of a banana cream pie and we love it. Jamie had a cold this week, which she happily shared with her Mom by 'exploring' Heather's face with her goobery fingers. So they were both miserable, but well looked after by the healthy and hearty Josh.

Hooray! Look at that jaunty pie-head, just as hilarious as expected!
It's clearly much more of a "fashion" hat that one for practicalities of cold weather - maybe it'll start a new baby trend...

I love the pie hat! I think it makes Jamie look French. I knit a strawberry top hat last year for another friend's baby, but I've seen those before. A banana cream pie hat is a true original. Good thing you didn't go for strawberry rhubarb pie, Hez. Although delicious, it is quite an ugly colour.
