She'll kill us

One day she'll have a bird at us for posting this photo, but we've never seen our poor little snot-nose look quite so pathetic. This sad sight is a spinoff of Heather's stomach flu and bad cold of last week. Jamie seems to have escaped the stomach bug but has discovered the latter with a vengeance. Little Ben lives a few doors down and has caught something similar... On the upside, Jamie collapses against us in exhaustion for a cuddle more often now, which is always welcome and adorable. Her new developments include crawling here and there, standing up with the help of furniture, and some impressive evidence of word recognition (balloon, book, sheep, cheerios). She's darn cute these days.
