Find Heather

Finham Brook flows past Kenilworth Castle. In medieval times it was dammed to create a huge lake that surrounded the castle, forming part of its defences. Nowadays, it flows under culverts in the road. Unless all the snow that fell last week melts in a single day. The road was badly flooded and crowds assembled to watch a few cars (and one teenage cyclist) brave their way through 1-2 ft of water.

I wonder if ours was one of the cars you saw chickening out and turning round. After spending 2 hours stuck in the mud, whilst it might have helped wash the car, caution seemed the best option!
