What once was lost...

Given that our camera turned up today, hidden deep within the sleeve of Heather's winter jacket (!), here is photographic evidence of our first ride on a city bus with Jamie and Justin on family day. Timbits in tow, this was a very special event for Jamie given her dedication to practicing the lines of the 'Wheels on the Bus', as shown being sung below.

Happy, happy, joy, joy! Congratulations on finding your camera, and on recovering those memorable photos of that first bus ride!!! I can just imagine how happy (and slightly embarrassed?) you must have been when you first caught sight of your camera! Isn't it wonderful how kids can remove our self-consciousness, and help us rediscover what it means to just "be" instead of caring what others think of us?! Singing "the wheels on the bus" complete with actions, caught up in Jamie's delight and living fully with her in that moment - so precious.

you must have been overjoyed to find your camera. and relieved to know that some stranger was not walking around showing all their friends "their first busride".
