It's not my birthday, though.

Our literalist daughter was nonetheless pleased to have so many of her friends stop in this morning for an open-house birthday party. She moved among the crowd, stopping to say Hello, open a few gifts, stuff her face with strawberries or cupcakes, and play with whoever was available. The little social butterfly loudly led the singing of Happy Birthday to herself, and just generally managed to look cute. We're pleased that she had a good time, and send thanks to all our friends and family for making it special for her.

Oh my goodness, another way Jamie is like me! Just got to make sure everything's accurate! Glad to hear she had such a terrific birthday week! It will be interesting to see how she reacts to yet another (un)birthday celebration when she comes to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Happy Birthday sweet Jamie! Did Daddy do some balloon animals in that hat? I can not believe how many little friends you have made in such a short time- look at them all around the table! It must be because you and your family are so fun! Wish we could be there too!

Where are you guys? Has Spring gardening kept you so busy you've forgotten to blog? There's no drought in Victoria, but perhaps Ontario is experiencing one...or at least a blogging drought?
