Jamie's first concert
She was so excited: planned her outfit, practised her songs, had a discussion about stage fright... But once she'd made eye contact with us from the stage, she settled right in and enjoyed herself. At the very beginning of the video, you can hear Justin's shouted encouragement: "Good job, Jamie!". Yes that's a corsage, but we refrained from taking a limo to the event! That corsage cracks me up :) Amelia had a preschool "concert". I laughed the whole time. The entire 2 year old class just stood up and didn't sing. Amelia didn't even face the audience, she was looking at the kids behind her. Of course the entire week after she sang for us constantly. Perhaps if Justin had been able to give her encouragement she would have gotten over stage fright.
Jamie, I think you and all your friends did a super job of singing. I just wish I could have been there to see the live performance!
