Niagara bling mini-break

We bought a one-night deal at a Niagara Falls hotel, and decided to embrace the gaudy fun: arcade games, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and the Maid of the Mist. We packed a lot in to 24 hours and it did trick us into feeling "on holiday".

The whole trip was a surprise for the kids, and they were gratifyingly astounded. Jamie actually squealed when she caught her very first glimpse of the falls, from our hotel room window.
