Windfalls

We scored, this year! There must have been a wind the previous night, because the ground underneath our preferred apple type (Cortlands) was littered with perfect apples, at a lovely half-price discount. We did let the kids pick a few baskets from the trees, because that's still way more fun. They then spent about an hour climbing some bigger trees at the back of the orchard, sticking a hand out of the leaves now and again to wave to Papa and Mom. Justin only had to be rescued once!
