Flash from the past

Chris, our friendly neighbour, stopped by while walking her dog to let Heather know that she has a photo of our street dating from the turn of the century. She pointed out that our house (pictured far right) used to have a 'Clinton Terrace' sign posted on the brick wall out front. This evening, reminiscent of my sister's recent stove disaster, Josh left the gas on with no flame underneath our pot of recently-imported Mac and Cheese (c/o Bunpapa and Mom/Dad). After discovering a kitchen reeking of gas, he opened the door and windows, then headed over to Chris' house to take a look at the image, photograph it for the blog, and take another 'present day' picture for comparison.
Note: At any time, clicking on a photo on this blog will bring up a larger version of the image for greater detail.

Weird, that picture looks more than 6 years old.

Good call Dan. I still catch myself declaring, "Get with it - it's the nineties!" once in a while. Must figure out what the kids are into these days. GIJoe and Transformers are still the 'in' thing I assume? Gobots still suck, right?
