Warm fuzzies

Who can resist such a sweet smile? A cuddle? Candy? Car? - you name it, Jamie. We went to Stoneleigh Abbey today to see the stately home that Queen Elizabeth I and Jane Austen both stayed in. Stoneleigh Abbey was the model for the house that Fanny Price visited in Chapters 8-10 of Mansfield Park. With sunny and warm weather, we've had a smashing weekend.

You know how I hate to be pedantic when it comes to English history, but of course it was Queen Victoria, rather than Queen Elizabeth I, who stayed at Stoneleigh Abbey!

Oops - I knew that. Embarassing! Elizabeth is Kenilworth Castle's floozie. Thanks for pointing that out.
