Trouble
Our friend Mark knocked on the door this morning: "what happened to your car?!". It seems that someone's senses weren't about them in the middle of the night as they drove past the house. But who? Who knows... Rich drove Josh to the police station to 'file a report' and the mechanic will come on Monday to give us an estimate for repairs. We suspect it's a write-off. Anyone selling a cheap and reliable car?

Sorry guys, that's really unfortunate. It looks kinda like what happened to our Ford Escort. Except that THAT happened because I pulled into the path of a City of Burnaby sewer department truck. Which didn't suffer as much as a scratch.

awful news. Glad no one was around when it happened tho. Got lots deals on cars in Victoria, BC. Probably not much help for you, but I like my little Hyundai Sonata - no heat and smokes when you start her up - for $650.
Daniel is about to change the spark plugs just to ensure that it does actually start the first time (nah to be fair it does usually start straight away but it has had its moments in the past) but besides that our car will be on the market... mind you its only got 3 doors not five, and has only done about 60,000 miles... up to you though, the accent is yours if your interested... you only need it for a few months and its gotten us from a to b numerous times!

Thanks Gill - but ever since we traded in our licenses, we've been restricted to automatic transmissions. Most cars in Britain (including yours?) are manuals... but thanks for offering!
Very observant Meghan! The note was from a neighbor asking me to pop by. She had heard the accident at 3:30 AM but did not get a license or anything. The car left pieces of its bumper behind, which she collected and offered to me. The police said that the plastic bumper was not helpful for identifying the car...
