La visite

Doug and Sarah, friends from Vancouver, came to stay last weekend on their way to their new (temporary) home near Paris. With fleece and gore-tex in abundance, we ventured out for Cotswold walks, castle tours, and warm-up tea. Jamie and Doug got along well in the backseat (she even shared her biscuits with him, and he even enjoyed them) as Heather and Sarah coveted cottages. A jet-lagged Josh showed up for the last part of their visit, in time to blearily cheer on another Coventry Blaze game. Doug-the-ref taught us some more of the rules and signs, so our hockey knowledge is slowly expanding. Nice to see you two, vous êtes toujours bienvenue chez nous.
